When the filter swells and blocks water and other contaminants from reaching the sensor, it has done its job — it should then be replaced. Note: oil drawn into the filter can clog it almost immediately — replace the filter for optimum performance. FILTER REPLACEMENT: The hydrophobic filter is built into the replaceable tip and should be changed periodically to maximise sensor life and performance. To replace it, unscrew the tip. Contents: 5 × filter tips compatible with DR58 Heated Diode and DR82 Infrared leak detectors
