The Fieldpiece DR58 locates refrigerant leaks in air-conditioning systems, heat pumps, and refrigeration equipment. The heated-diode sensor delivers high detection sensitivity for field service work.
Applications- leak-tightness checks on air-conditioning, heat pump, and refrigeration systems
- locating leaks of HFC, CFC, HCFC, HFO, and blended refrigerants
- tracer-gas (H2N2) testing in accordance with service procedures
- leak diagnosis during scheduled maintenance or repair of refrigeration systems
- sensitivity better than 0.03 oz/year (approx. 1 g/year)
