A condensate dispersal unit gets rid of the water collected in an evaporator drip tray by atomising it into a fine mist or evaporating it in the airflow, so you don't have to route a drain line to a waste connection. It is used on wall-mounted, cassette and ducted units where gravity drainage is impossible and fitting a condensate pump would be awkward — the device directs the dispersed moisture into the discharge airstream or outdoors.
When selecting, look at the maximum removal capacity (l/h) matched to the unit's cooling output, the supply (230 V or low-voltage from the unit board), the noise level and the drip-tray connection diameter. Check the allowable run length and lift, compatibility with the unit type (split, cassette, ducted), the IP protection rating, and whether the model has an overflow sensor with an alarm contact that cuts the compressor on fault.
