Is a standard manifold gauge enough to verify evacuation?

No. A manifold gauge reads in bar/psi and has no resolution below roughly 0–1 bar, so it cannot show deep vacuum. To confirm evacuation you need a separate electronic vacuum (micron) gauge measuring in µmHg — the standard is pulling below 500 microns and holding that reading after isolating the pump (a rise/decay test).

Will an R410A manifold work with R32 and R290?

Pressure-wise usually yes — R32 and R290 operate at similar or lower pressures than R410A, which manifolds already cover. The key issue is flammable-refrigerant compatibility: R32 (A2L) and R290 (A3) require equipment rated for hydrocarbons/flammables and suitable seals. Check the manufacturer's declaration and that the gauge has the saturation-temperature scale for that refrigerant.

Analog or digital manifold for service work?
