Foundation: vacuum & measurement
A two-stage vacuum pump (2–4 CFM for splits), a digital manifold with a refrigerant database and a micron gauge are the bare minimum. Without micron-level vacuum control you can't commission correctly.
Pipe work
A roller cutter, deburrer, 45° eccentric flaring tool and a torque wrench. These decide flare-joint tightness — the most common leak source.
Diagnostics & safety
An electronic leak detector and a charging scale. For flammable refrigerants (A2L/R32) choose equipment rated to operate in their presence.
Consumables
A stock of pump oil, service hoses and an adapter set. A recurring oil subscription keeps you working without downtime.
Scaling the crew
Equip the second crew identically — consistent kit shortens training and simplifies service. In a 4REF B2B account you save the set as a shopping list and reorder in one click.
